A quick and very tasty pie served or not with vanilla sauce, ideal for the days when you have a craving for sweets and you want to make something quick, without kneading, creams or other breezes.

That's how it was last night when I really wanted something sweet and sincere. I just didn't feel like kneading and rubbing creams! :))

The taste makes you think of the traditional apple strudel, and the thought of Vienna! Yes, I say Vienna, because that's where I ate the best strudel of my life, at the Christmas fair where I go every year and it's as if they always outdo themselves. I like to see the people there who are always nice, attentive, with wide smiles and all without exception as if they are part of a painting in which the most famous painters in the world have joined hands.

So let's follow the list of ingredients and how to prepare and then get to work.

You can try other commercial pie pies that are just as easy to make.


  • 1 pack of 400-500 g pie sheets as you find, I made with 400
  • 1 kg of peeled green apples and diced
  • 150-200 g caster sugar, depending on how sweet the apples are or how sweet you like them
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 150 g butter with 82% fat
  • 1 serving vanilla sauce, recipe here
  • Powdered sugar for garnish

Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Divide the sheets into 2 parts, one side must have 2 sheets in addition to the other. I had 14 sheets and divided 8 by 6 sheets.

In a large bowl, place the diced apples, sugar, breadcrumbs and cinnamon. We mix them and set them aside.

Wallpaper an oven tray with baking paper.

We spread sheet after sheet greased with butter, half of most sheets.

Pour the apple composition and level it and then bring the edges inwards.

We do the same with the remaining sheets, that is, we put them on top of the apples, grease them with butter and put the edges inside the tray towards the bottom of it.

Using a toothpick, cut the pie into squares, rhombuses, slices or whatever you like.

Bake for 15 minutes covered with a lid or aluminum foil, then uncover the tray and leave it for another 30 minutes or until nicely browned.

Take the pie out and let it cool slightly, then sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with vanilla sauce. Simple, fast and very tasty. Good job and good appetite!

I often go to a bread shop (to buy something completely different) and smell the pies there. So today I kept oscillating between a sweet and a salty pie, until the half decided it would be sweet. It is a keto pie with molded dough, I will keep the idea of ​​sheets for tomorrow, because I also miss a pie with salted cheese and greens.

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Tagatesse
  • 80 grams of almond flour
  • 20 grams of coconut flour
  • 80 ml liquid cream
  • vanilla essence
  • 5 grams of baking powder

Because I like things to be simple, but the result to be, of course, incredible, I think it's deductible: for the dough, I put all the ingredients in a bowl and mixed them lightly, until the coconut flour swelled and gave the dough like pancake consistency. In a 20 cm x 20 cm silicone tray, I poured half of the dough and put the tray in the oven for about 5 minutes, until it coagulated slightly. Meanwhile, I grated the cheese on the small grater, and mixed it with the eggs and the sweetener. I added a drop of vanilla essence, left over from the dough, and poured into the pan. I let the cheese coagulate for another 10 minutes, then I poured the second layer of dough. The keto pie with cheese remained in the oven for about 30 minutes, at low temperature, until it was golden on the surface. Enjoy!

  • 2 eggs
  • 300 ml kefir
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 ml oil
  • 25 g fresh yeast or 7 g dry
  • vanilla essence (1 teaspoon)
  • grated lemon peel (1 tbsp)
  • a pinch of salt
  • 600 g of well drained cottage cheese
  • 200 g sugar
  • an egg
  • 2-3 tablespoons semolina
  • 100 g raisins
  • vanilla essence (1 teaspoon)
  • grated lemon peel (1 tbsp)
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 beaten egg
  • powdered sugar

If the cheese you will use is too soft, let it drain in a strainer in which you put several layers of gauze or a clean white cloth.
Method of preparation:
Rub the fresh yeast with a teaspoon of sugar and set aside to liquefy. If we use dry yeast we will mix it in the flour or we will follow the instructions on the package.
Put the sugar, salt and kefir in a saucepan. Place the pan on the fire and leave it just to dissolve the sugar and salt. When the mixture of kefir and sugar cools, add the essence, lemon peel and beaten eggs with a fork.
Sift the flour into a bowl and make a hole in the middle of it. Add the liquefied yeast and the warm, liquid mixture. Mix by hand to incorporate all the ingredients well, then pour the dough on the work table greased with a little oil. Knead it for about 10 minutes, gradually incorporating all the oil. When we finish kneading, put the dough back in the bowl, cover the chestnut with cling film and let the dough rise until it doubles in volume (about an hour).
While the dough is fermenting, prepare it Filling:
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well with a spoon.
Turn the oven to medium heat (180 & # 176C).
We turn over the leavened dough on the floured table, we knead it a little just enough for the air to come out of it, then we divide it into two equal balls.
We spread the first ball in a square sheet about 1cm thick, then we cut it into 9 squares. On each square we put about a spoonful of the filling, then we fold each one in the shape of an envelope, greasing the corners with egg to stick (see photo below). Place each pie in the tray (I used 2 trays) lined with baking paper. Do the same with the second ball of dough.
Let the pies rise for another 15-20 minutes, then grease them with egg and put the trays in the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the pies are nicely browned. When they are ready, we sifted powdered sugar on top and when they cool a little we can serve them.

The common pie with cheese and raisins

A pie that is prepared at maximum speed:
- a pack of commercial pie sheets
- 6 eggs plus one to grease on top
- one kilogram of fresh cottage cheese, neither too soft nor too coagulated
- vanilla
- Raisins, as you like
- sugar and salt to taste.

The pie sheets are removed from the freezer about half an hour before, to thaw. They are then carefully unwrapped on the foil in which they were folded. Use 3-4 sheets for a pie roll. You get 4 rolls, as for a regular rectangular tray.

Mix the cottage cheese with the eggs, raisins, sugar, salt, vanilla (if you like, you can also add coconut or chopped walnuts) - and if the paste is too soft, add a handful of semolina. then it is divided into four, for the four rolls.
Spread on the stack of pie sheets as for a roll, peel off the first 3 or 4 sheets (count them all and appreciate how many to use) and roll. Then place the first roll in the oiled pan. Do the same for the following. Sprinkle a little more oil on top and put in the preheated oven over medium heat. Bake in about 45 minutes (depending on the oven you have). Towards the end, remove the tray, grease the pie on top with a well-rubbed egg with a little cream and sprinkle with caster sugar. Bake for another 5-10 minutes.
It is very tasty hot, but also chilled.
