Every week, we take a look at some of the restaurants that have opened or will soon open across the country. Here’s this week’s roundup:

New York, NY
VACCA Grill & Lounge: The restaurant will open in Inwood on August 1st, with a Euro-Latino-inspired steak and seafood menu, according to a release. VACCA is not just a restaurant but also an art gallery, showcasing work from Dominican Republic artists.

Update: VACCA's opening date is delayed. The new date is not yet confirmed, but stay tuned for more details.

DAG’S Patio Café: The gourmet burger restaurant is now open across from the UN headquarters. Their hamburgers and hotdogs are a custom mix of short rib and chicken from Pat LaFrieda. There will also be breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, soft serve ice cream, and beverages such as wine, beer, and soft drinks.

Empire Steak House: The steakhouse will open its second location in Midtown’s West 54th Street in the fall, according to the release. The menu will feature popular dishes from the original location, such as prime in-house dry aged porterhouse steak and grilled Chilean sea bass.

Atlanta, GA
Waffle House: The Atlanta-based restaurant chain is now open in Turner Field, serving waffles and hash browns with toppings, according to Eater. The location will only be open during Braves’ home games.

Brooklyn, NY
Grand Central Oyster Bar: The oyster bar will be opening another location in Brooklyn’s Park Slope. Co-owner and Park Slope resident Jonathan Young told New York Post that the new location will have 150 seats and will focus on shellfish and classics such as the creamy oyster stew.

Boston, MA
Holiday Inn Boston-Bunker Hill’s DRAFT: The hotel is now open, with a sports-themed eatery called DRAFT, according to a release. The restaurant serves American comfort food, with pub pizza, fish tacos, BBQ bacon burger, pomegranate lime glazed salmon, chocolate cake, and more. DRAFT also has a “grab and go” takeout section for guests who want to eat in their rooms.

Woburn, MA
Strega Prime: The upscale Italian steakhouse opens on August 4th, according to a release. The menu will feature items such as hand-chopped steak tartar, petite filet, sherry wild mushrooms, Japanese Wagu steak, and Nutella bread pudding. As for drinks, there will be 1,300 selections of red and white wines, 18 beers, and cocktails like “Italian Breeze.”

Philadelphia, PA
Talula’s Daily: Market by day and supper club by night, Talula’s Daily opens with bread, coffee, local farmstead cheeses, sandwiches, and more, according to a release. The restaurant opens in the evening, with a family-style dinner for groups with up to twelve people. Expect seasonal four-course meals that change each month.

Yakitori Boy: Philadelphia’s first izakaya and upscale karaoke lounge is now open, according to a release. Yakitori Boy offers daily happy hour deals, and guests can sing with friends and try yakitori skewers, sushi rolls, oysters, and more.

Georges Perrier’s New Bistro: New York Times Frank Bruni reported that Georges Perrier, the chef of the now-closed Le Bec-Fin, is planning to open a new bistro.

Washington, DC
G Sandwich: Chef Mike Isabella opens G Sandwich on Friday, according to Washington Post. The restaurant will serve over a dozen different Italian sandwiches. There will be a four-course tasting menu from Wednesdays to Saturdays for $40. The chef will release his tasting menu on August 3rd.

Dallas, TX
Snap Kitchen: The healthy takeaway dining store plans to open five store locatiosn in Dallas by early 2014, according to a release. Snap Kitchen provides in-house dietitian-tested fare such as peanut butter pancakes, herbed quinoa “Mac & Cheese,” cold-pressed juices, and more. There are selections for people with vegan, gluten-free, paleo, vegetarian, and sugar-free diets. The store currently has six Austin locations and will have six stores in Houston by the fall.

Jersey City, NJ
Orale Mexican Kitchen: Orale Mexican Kitchen is now serving authentic Mexican cuisine in New Jersey, with signature dishes such as salsa roja prepared at the table side, “Blue Demon” guacamole with Cabrales blue cheese and toasted pepitas, raw bar and ceviches, tacos, cocktails, house-made sodas, and more.

Las Vegas, NV
Kumi by Akira Back: This modern Japanese restaurant is now open in Vegas’ Mandalay Bay, according to Eater. The restaurant incorporates Korean American cuisine as well, with dishes such as a roll inspired by the Korean bibimbap, with baby spinach, carrots, and grilled shiitake.

San Diego, CA
Bang Bang: The Japanese restaurant is now open, Eater reported, serving dishes inspired by Asian street market snacks as well as sushi, sake, cocktails, and punch bowls. There’s even a bathroom stall covered with Ryan Gosling.

Chicago, IL
Vora: The Asian cuisine restaurant is now open in Chicago, according to Urban Daddy. There’s a selection of different cuisines, with dim sum, banh mi, sushi, pad thai, hot pot, and more.
